1.      INSURANCE: Cardinal if fully insured for liability resulting from injury to persons or property. Upon request Cardinal will supply customer with a copy of Certificate of Insurance.

2.      ESTIMATE: Estimates are good for 60 Days. If after 60 days Cardinal will determine if there is a need to reevaluate and update estimate.

3.      SCOPE OF WORK: Cardinal Landscaping & Tree Service will perform the services agreed on as written in this estimate. If items were discussed during site visit and/or over the phone but are not explicitly mentioned in this estimate, they will not be done unless customer requests an updated estimate. If customer adds additional items while crew is on site, the additional cost of material and labor will be added to final invoice.

4.      UTILITIES: If the service area warrants it, Cardinal will be responsible for contacting Ohio Public Utilities to have underground utilities marked. Cardinal is NOT RESPONSIBLE for lines buried such as electrical done by homeowners, water features, invisible pet fences, sprinkler systems, or other lines not related to companies contracted by Ohio’s Call Before You Dig. We are not responsible for these buried lines we cannot see.

5.      PAYMENT: Payment is due upon receipt of the invoice. If failure to pay in full within 30 days of work being completed account is subject to a 2% monthly finance charge. All Contracted Maintenance Services may be placed on hold until account is paid in full (i.e. mowing, fertilization, property cleanups, etc.)

6.      PAYMENT OPTIONS: Cardinal accepts CASH, CHECK and CREDIT CARDS. Be aware, due to the high cost of processing credit cards, a CONVENIENCE FEE of 3% is assessed on all card transactions.

7.      PROMOTION: Customer hereby grants Cardinal permission to photograph customers property to showcase finished work. These photos will be the sole right and intellectual property of Cardinal and may be used for promotional purposes on social media, print products and our website.

8.      TREE SERVICE: Stump Removal is not included unless otherwise specified on the estimate. Customer agrees to pay for damaged equipment and/or added time due to foreign matter in trunk or branches (i.e. concrete, active hornet or wasp nests, beehives, etc) or any other conditions not apparent when Cardinal estimated work.

9.      LANDSCAPING SERVICES: All plant material is guaranteed for one year with a ONE TIME replacement, only if balance is paid in full. If plant(s) die within first three months of install, plant material and cost of labor will be covered by Cardinal. If plant(s) die within four-twelve months from install, customer is responsible for labor cost to reinstall plant(s). All transplants are NOT guaranteed.

10. UPON ACCEPTANCE: You may accept this estimate by signing and returning this form or by responding to this corresponding email containing estimate. Upon acceptance you give Cardinal permission to communicate with you in person, by phone, text and email.
